1) we are to be ‘lights’ in this world
Jesus said for us not to hide the lamp under the stand, but rather to let our light shine brightly for all to see. Be a faithful light-bearer of the gospel of Christ today, sharing hope and compassion, and help make Jesus known across this city!
2) seeds sown
The Bible uses the image of a seed in the New Testament to represent faith, the Word, and the gospel being planted into the hearts of men and women. When we witness, we are “scattering seed” into people’s lives, which—God willing—will take root and grow into salvation. Make the choice to be a faithful seed sower today.
3) lives changed
The gospel has transformational power in that it has the potential to change lives forever. If you had a medicine that could heal the world of every sickness, why would you keep it hidden? In the same way, the gospel is that vital “medicine” offered to bring real and lasting hope, joy, and peace into people’s lives here and now.
